How I would change the World

We have one world. It is an atom in the face of the universe, but it is also all we have. This place is all we are. It is the reason for our existence. Otherwise, we are pointless. This is an ancient philosophy. I believe in this philosophy, for it is absolute. And our world is being taken for granted. We, the humans, are consuming every single valuable resource like wildfire and it cannot go on.
If I could change the world, I would show the world how much we are hurting it. The world nurtures us, and we destroy it. It’s like disrespecting your mother when she takes care of you since birth. If people could possibly realize what they’re doing, I’d say that everything has a cost, but is that really necessary? In ancient times, people never knew of all the other people, and they never knew how small the world was. We, today, know of the whole world. It may not sound easy, but we could unite, under one nation. People say this will never work, for which nation would rule the world? I say, why not make a new nation? Start over? It’s possible? Not very likely, but possible. Just imagine, leaders getting together to govern the world.
Why I mention this is that we are hurting the world with our wars and hatred and destruction. If we keep hurting the world, the human race shall perish, and Mother Earth will be satisfied by our wrong doing. If we could learn to live in the world without hurting it, we would ALL have bliss. If you look at the song called “I Have Nothing”, the song is in the context of talking to a lover, but it could apply to talking to Mother Earth.
Think about it. I beg of you all. Click on the link to the song here.
