It’s not everyday you hear about a prince getting married. The last big royal wedding was the marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. It was watched by millions. Now it’s Charles and Diana’s son, Prince William’s turn to have an international wedding. William and his fiance, Kate, will marry on April 29th, 2011. William gave Kate the ring that his mother (Princess Diana) wore when she married Prince Charles (William’s father). The wedding ceremony will cost $18 million alone. The policy and security for the wedding will cost $30 million. the overall cost is $48 million. William proposed to Kate during a trip to Kenya in October. The wedding is predicted to be spectacular as Charles and Diana’s and just as unforgettable. If you want to watch the wedding coverage will begin on some stations starting at 1:00am. ABC has vowed to devote 20 hours to the Royal Wedding starting at 4am ET with a special edition of ‘Good Morning America’. Coverage will be streamed live online and to the iPad and iPhone apps, as well as Facebook, Yahoo!, and Hulu. BBC AMERICA will probably be your best coverage of the event. They confirmed that it will carry extensive uninterrupted live coverage of the Royal Wedding on April 29. The live, commercial free broadcast will be a direct simulcast. Enjoy the show!
